We had a great time completing surveys to find out why people visited Matlock and what they liked most about being there. We then came back to school and compared how Matlock and Basford were similar and different! A great Geography trip and we especially enjoyed our ice creams! A big thank you to Mrs England, Mrs Stevenson, Mr Drakeford and Miss Bell for helping out

3AH are now official class blog stars! They have been working very hard and have written some fab posts some of which are below! I look forward to reading many more!

Hi 3AH, Mrs Pezaro and Goldie! Just a quick note to let you all know that me and Miss Steel are learning lots in Spain but I miss you all very much. I hope you enjoyed half term and are working hard. Looking forward to seeing you next week.

Year 3 have been very lucky to have been part of the 6 week project where staff from Nottingham Forest Football Club have come to school to teach sessions which mix Spanish language with football skills. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learnt lots! We are now looking forward to our final week when we get to visit the City Ground for a presentation and guided tour! 3AH and 3SW would like to say a big ‘gracias’ to all of the Forest team involved. We hope you will come back and visit when we have our fantastic new building and sports facilities!
