Project Ole!
February 12, 2010Year 3 have been very lucky to have been part of the 6 week project where staff from Nottingham Forest Football Club have come to school to teach sessions which mix Spanish language with football skills. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learnt lots! We are now looking forward to our final week when we get to visit the City Ground for a presentation and guided tour! 3AH and 3SW would like to say a big ‘gracias’ to all of the Forest team involved. We hope you will come back and visit when we have our fantastic new building and sports facilities!

Super Science!
November 27, 2009This half term we have been learning all about the skeleton. We have a friendly class skeleton called Bert who very kindly let us label his bones!

We used I.C.T. to make skeleton fact sheets to show off all of our clever knowledge! Here’s one made by Isobel…
and another by Brooklyn and Dane…

See if you can answer our science challenge question…
Anderson shelter challenge!
October 3, 2009As part of our work on World War 2, 3AH made their own Anderson bomb shelters using different materials. We then dropped Blu Tack bombs on them to see which shelters were the strongest! We had a lot of fun and all of the children did a brilliant job!
